Lithuania (Lietuva) Rugby League's short history began in 2019 with a side formed for the London 9s. The national side made their 13-a-side debut against Wales Dragonhearts, losing 58-0.
Plans were halted by Covid, and the national side has since been dissolved. We hope to see the great game played by Lithuania again in the future... until then, the only Lithuania Rugby League training shirt ever is available only on Chasing Roos.
Fun fact: the original Lithuania RL head coach, Chris Coates, is also a co-founder of the Canada Co-Operative Championship Rugby League (CCCRL)
